Based on over a decade of experience in using stem cells to model human physiology, Cytochroma UK was founded in 2017 by Dr Kate Cameron. Since then Kate has completed a BBSRC funded Royal Society of Edinburgh Fellowship, and won multiple awards and competitions on an international stage.
In June 2018, Cytochroma was the recipient of the largest Higgs’ EDGE prize, awarded for businesses focused on science, technology and engineering, at Scottish EDGE 2018; the UK’s largest entrepreneurship funding competition. This year Kate continues to grow the company, travelling internationally to build partnerships and a client base.
